In Closing
I was curious about the “mochi-maki” rice cake toss for celebrating the Tigers’ championship, so I looked it up and found that there’s apparently a custom of tossing mochi from the roof during a house framework-raising ceremony. So they really do throw mochi! I wonder if you’re supposed to eat it right away. I kind of want to experience it myself lol
