At Hankyu Shukugawa Station, the “connecting ticket information poster” looks like it’s aimed at children.
(This tip was provided by Kagayaki 509-go @ Nishitsu SP.)
Here it is ↓

It feels like a station staff member is explaining it in a way that’s easy for kids to understand.

A ticket that lets you continue onto another railway line with a single ticket is called a connecting ticket.

Even for Hanakuma Station or Kosoku Kobe Station, where you can get there on the Hankyu train without transferring, do I buy a connecting ticket instead of a regular ticket?

That’s right. Actually, from Kobe-sannomiya Station westward, the line is Kobe Kosoku Railway. So when buying a ticket from a ticket machine to Hanakuma Station or Kosoku Kobe Station, first tap the area marked “connecting ticket,” then buy your ticket.
I actually think this is information aimed more at adults, but written like this, it’s easy to understand and really nice. The end.
※Thank you, Kagayaki 509-go, for the tip!!
