Which days are most likely to be congested?

In the Hyogo area, May 2, 3, and 4 look like the peak congestion days.
Also, the start of Golden Week on the 26th and the final day, May 6, are expected to be busy too.
Compared with Osaka, the Route 3 Kobe Line in the Kobe area looks likely to see heavy congestion.
Shift Your Travel Time to Avoid the Peak

This is data from a previous year-end and New Year holiday period, but shifting your departure time may change how long the trip takes.
Times when congestion is common
Traffic seems most likely between 8 a.m. and noon. If you’re leaving around this time, aim to depart by 8 a.m. at the latest.
Better times to aim for
The following time slots are recommended:
- 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.(for relaxed travelers)
- Early morning, 5 a.m. to 6 a.m.(for those who want to arrive early)
- After 6 p.m.(for strategic travelers)
May 5: Traffic gets heavy when returning to Nishinomiya from places like Himeji or Kobe

Children’s Day traffic. Up to 23 km. The peak is at 2 p.m. May 2 and May 6 are also quite heavy.
May 3: Traffic gets heavy when returning to Nishinomiya from Osaka

May 3 is the peak congestion day. Up to 33 km. The next busiest day is May 4.

Lastly
These days I use Google Maps for navigation, but it often doesn’t work inside tunnels, so I get really anxious when I need to exit right after coming out of one. Traffic jams are part of long holidays, but hopefully you can dodge them well and enjoy plenty of fun time~
