It looks like “牛飲馬食” in Ashiya will be offering up to 39% OFF its menu, including yakiniku, drinks, side dishes, and desserts. This was a popular campaign for the Nishinomiya branch’s 1st anniversary, and now the Ashiya location is doing it for its 4th anniversary.

You can probably call and ask something like, “Do you still have any seats available?” I checked the online reservation page, but it looks like they’re asking people to make reservations by phone for these three days.

The address is 4-15 Omasu-cho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The discount is taken off your total bill. The discount rate seems to vary depending on the time slot.
- First slot 16:00~18:00: 29% OFF
- Second slot 18:30~20:30: 19% OFF
- Third slot 21:00~23:00: 39% OFF
The third slot is almost 40% off, so that’s the one to aim for. The first slot is also pretty good at nearly 30% off.
Apparently, the discount even applies to the following Wagyu beef items.
- Wagyu ichibo
- Premium Wagyu loin steak
- Wagyu rump
This is Wagyu ichibo, a cut from the rump area. It has the most marbling among the round cuts and is really tender!
It looks like this when grilled. The fat drips down and really makes the flames flare up.

It has a nostalgic Showa-era vibe. Seems like a great place to enjoy yakiniku.

If you missed the Nishinomiya branch’s 1st anniversary campaign, this might be a good chance. Hanshin Ashiya Station is the nearest station (about a 5-minute walk), but it’s also about a 9-minute walk from JR Ashiya Station, so if you want to enjoy yakiniku at a discount, why not make a reservation?
