INDIGO is well known as a shop that recreated the legendary curry “Inbero” from “Samboa,” a curry restaurant that used to be in Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi before the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake🍛

Believe it or not, there are apparently shops in neighboring Ashiya that are carrying on the flavor of “Samboa Curry”!

According to INDIGO’s official Facebook, the Italian restaurant “APOLLO ASHIYA” near Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station serves “Samboa Curry” as a secret menu item, limited to 5 servings per day〜!

In Closing
It’s amazing that there are this many shops in neighboring Ashiya recreating Samboa’s “Inbero,” which really shows how many devoted fans it still has〜. It will be disappearing from Nishinomiya this time, but it’s trulyありがたい to have shops carrying on the flavors tied to so many memories. INDIGO will be open until Sunday, December 15, so why not stop by for one last taste?
