Yesterday, June 30 (Tue), eight raccoons were reportedly spotted in Satsukigaoka, Nishinomiya.*The photo shows a different raccoon that appeared in Nishinomiya previously.

Around Satsukigaoka, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The location is near Uegahara Public Hall. It’s in the residential area north of Kansai Super in Hirota, across the river.

Nishitsu has received several raccoon sighting reports before. There are four in the photo, but apparently there were about 10 of them. They seem to move around in mother-and-young groups.

By the way, last night, a mother raccoon and her young were spotted along the Tsutogawa River near Mukogawa Women’s University at Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi(formerly Hyogo College of Nutrition, Cooking and Confectionery), about 30 meters to the north. Raccoons seem to be good swimmers too.
