Here it is on the map ↓
The address is around 18 Kurakuen Nibancho, Nishinomiya City.
Around 6:30 a.m. Here’s what it looked like before dawn. Cars were already parked there.

Looking at the license plates, there were 5 Kobe plates, 3 Naniwa plates, 2 Osaka plates, and one each from Kyoto, Izumo, and Sakai.
Before 7 a.m., there were about 20 people at this point, mostly Haruhi fans.
As the sun gradually began to rise, more people started arriving.
As it got closer to 7 a.m., more local residents showed up too. At this point, there were about 100 people.
And then, at 7:14 a.m.
The first sunrise!
Here’s how it looked from even higher up. The locals were completely absorbed in watching the first sunrise too.
By the way, there were 175 people in 2025, 163 people in 2024, 163 people again in 2023, 116 people in 2022, and 90 people in 2021. So even with this many, this year was apparently a little on the lower side.
Lastly
Haruhi-zaka is a famous first-sunrise spot in the Kurakuen area. It’s a bit tough to get there, but the view more than makes up for it. The scenery is also beautiful at night and during cherry blossom season, so it’s definitely worth stopping by on a drive.
