“Suzette” is the company behind the Western-style confectionery brand “Henri Charpentier.” It looks like a new Henri factory is being built〜

Across the street is Nishinomiyahama Compulsory Education School.

If you go this way, you’ll find Co-op and the Shin Nishinomiya Yacht Harbor.

If you go in the opposite direction, there’s the waste treatment plant (currently relocated to Naruohama).

Walking all the way around the site, it turned out to cover a wider area than expected.

It looks like Matsui Construction is carrying out the work. According to the posted workers’ accident compensation insurance notice, the project period is from January 5, 2026 to August 31, 2027〜

Lastly

Since this is a new factory for Henri Charpentier, one of Nishinomiya’s signature Western-style confectionery brands, we’re looking forward to seeing it completed. Henri is also moving ahead with factory construction in Tsuto Ogomachi, so it really feels like they’re steadily expanding their bases. Will this area also start smelling wonderfully sweet, like around the factory in Kubocho?〜🤤
