I bought some cakes from “グーガ・ムーガ,” an affordable and delicious cake shop tucked away in a hidden spot in Koshimizu-cho (^^♪
Cakes I Bought at “グーガ・ムーガ”

Top left: クッシュ..A cake layered with custard, sponge cake, fruit, crepe, and pie. It’s like a fluffy mille-feuille, with all kinds of flavors and textures stacked together, making it rich and delicious!!!
Bottom left: Setoka Orange Tart..A tart made with sweet and juicy Setoka oranges. The refreshing sweetness of the Setoka, together with the sponge cake, custard cream, and crisp tart crust, blended nicely with the fruit for just the right sweetness!
Top right: Rare Cheesecake Tart..Custard, fresh cream, strawberries, rare cheesecake cream, and tart all come together with so many delicious flavors. Just as described, it’s full of different kinds of deliciousness! The chocolate spread on the tart adds a nice accent, and it’s truly tasty!!!
Bottom right: ママン..A whole pudding and fruit wrapped in a crepe. The jiggly pudding is gently wrapped in the crepe, giving it such a happy texture! Apparently it’s also delicious if you freeze it a little (*^^)v

Mille-Feuille..A fairly unusual style where you eat it while dipping it into the cream that comes in the cup. It’s crisp, easy to eat, and gives you that freshly made feel (*^^)v

Final Thoughts
This is a secret little cake shop I’ve often visited since it first opened. It feels like it’s been about 28 years now (*^^)v
Each cake is around 350 yen! And yet the deliciousness hasn’t changed at all!!
There’s no parking lot, but if you’re coming by car, the closest place is the Times parking lot next to Kansai Super Hirota. If you’re using public transportation, get off at the Hankyu Bus stop “Shimin Undojo-mae,” and it’s about a 3-minute walk (*^^)v
It’s an “affordable and delicious” cake shop! Of course, they also make birthday cakes (#^.^#)
