There’s a sundubu specialty restaurant called “O’KINY” along Shukugawa Sakura Road in Kurakuen-guchi.
Lately, I’ve been completely hooked on Korean dramas, and I found myself craving Korean food,
so I tried getting takeout sundubu from “O’KINY”~
The Food at “O’KINY”

Offal Sundubu 1,463 yen(comes with Korean seaweed, bean sprout namul, and daikon kimchi)
This time, I ordered it at spice level 3(you can choose the spiciness from level 0 to 5)

Plump, springy offal paired with silky tofu~
The melty tofu mixes perfectly with that addictive spiciness. So good, so spicy, so gooood~
I wonder how amazing it would be bubbling away, piping hot, in one of those black sundubu pots??😀

Mama, who has been to O’KINY many times, said:

It was delicious as always~. If you eat at the restaurant, you can get free refills of the side dishes, and I want to eat it piping hot while nearly burning my tongue, so next time I’m going to the restaurant!
That’s what she said~.

Clam Chijimi 640 yen

The batter was wonderfully chewy, and it had plenty of vegetables in it too. Delicious~♪
By the way, if you eat sundubu at the restaurant, apparently the rice is served in a pot and comes with crispy scorched rice~
They say the connoisseur’s way to enjoy that scorched rice is to turn it into ochazuke with corn tea~

I also recommend making the scorched rice even crispier and enjoying it as-is, or dipping it just a little into the sundubu so it’s about half crispy~

As expected from someone who’s been going there since around when the restaurant first opened. That’s a true insider’s way to eat it~
