There used to be a MOS Burger a little northwest of Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station, but…
It was renovated last year,
and was reborn as this chic and stylish MOS&CAFE～(^^♪ Even from the outside, it totally feels like a cafe～!!
What we ate at “MOS&CAFE”
My recommendation is the Teriyaki Chicken Burger! I also ordered clam chowder and a limited-time Dassai Shake S.
Clam Chowder ¥320 (tax included)
A warm soup with a rich shellfish flavor～ It had lots of clams in it～(^^♪
It comes in a ceramic bowl, and even the spoon too(^^)/Even before it became a cafe, details like this were part of why I wanted to come to MOS!
Teriyaki Chicken Burger ¥380 (tax included)
The sweet teriyaki sauce has a really solid flavor, and the chicken is so tender～!It’s not fried, so it feels healthy(^^)/
The crisp lettuce and just-right mayonnaise really bring out the harmony between the bun and teriyaki.
Apparently Niko-chan orders this Teriyaki Chicken Burger every single time!

When I spotted the word Dassai on the counter menu, I just had to try it～Dassai is a famous Japanese sake!
Mixed with a vanilla shake, the sake-like aroma spreads throughout～But it’s made with amazake, so it’s non-alcoholic(^^)/
It’s limited in quantity and looks like it may end soon, so if you want to try it, hurry～!
My recommendation is the MOS Rice Burger Seafood Kakiage. I ordered it with the Onipote Drink Set(^^♪

MOS fries are a little thick, so you really get that potato taste(*^-^*)
And the onion rings, which you don’t see around that often, have a crispy coating with a gentle sweetness from the onion!
For the drink, I chose a hot cafe latte!It didn’t really go with the rice burger(^_^;)
The mug gives it that cozy hot-drink feeling, just like MOS(^^♪

Even though it’s a hamburger shop, I always end up ordering this(^_^;)
It feels like eating a seafood tempura rice bowl with your hands～(^^)/
Inside, there’s squid, shrimp, onion, carrot, and edamame, and the salt-based sauce goes perfectly with the riceIt says “rice,” but I’m saying gohan on purpose!!!
It looks small, but it’s actually really filling～Niko-chan was worried and asked if it would be enough for me(^_^;)

In closing
Both of us ended up ordering the same things we always do, but MOS hamburgers have a taste that feels close to homemade hamburger steak, don’t they～
It’s also a nice service that they bring freshly made food to your seat!
There are so many menu items I want to challenge myself to try next time, like a burger wrapped in lettuce instead of buns and a Green Burger made without animal-derived ingredients(^^)/
It was a calm space that made me want to go back again. Next time, I really have to eat something different!
