Shachomi visited “Dashi no Mise Tsumiki”, located across from Nishinomiya Shrine. “Tsumiki” is a restaurant with a special focus on dashi broth, and we tried all kinds of dishes this time, so here’s what it was like〜.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 6-20 Baba-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

The mellow dashi brings out the natural sweetness of the vegetables😊
The deep umami and aroma spread luxuriously through your mouth〜〜

This tofu has such a smooth texture, with the gentle aroma of sesame〜
The way it melts in your mouth together with the dashi is irresistible〜!

So colorful〜😍✨ How many kinds of vegetables are in here〜?

Diamond Guarana 490 yen(tax included)
This drink is not beer! (lol) It’s an “apple-flavored non-alcoholic carbonated drink” called “Diamond Guarana.” Served in a cute glass, it’s adorable〜❤️

Inside “Dashi no Mise Tsumiki”
Here’s what the table seating looks like.

Toward the back, there’s a horigotatsu-style tatami seating area. This photo is from our previous gourmet article.
We had a photo taken together with head chef Kanayama.
Kanayama serves as the chairman of the Nishinomiya Chuo Shopping Street Promotion Association, and because he runs his business very close to Nishinomiya Shrine and feels he has benefited from it, he wanted to give something back to the community. For the past 12 years, he has also been taking part in a monthly cleanup of Nishinomiya Shrine on the second Monday of every month.
