It looks like “fixed platform barriers with sensors” will be installed on the Platform 3 (Koyo Line) platform at Shukugawa Station.

Here↓

The construction period is scheduled to last until November. So it will probably be finished by December. Thank you so much for all the nighttime work〜〜!🙇♀️
Fixed platform barriers with sensors look like this↓

It’s this silver-colored barrier. Apparently, if your body, baggage, or anything else extends from the fixed barrier toward the train side, the sensor activates, a buzzer sounds, and an announcement like “Please stop. It’s dangerous.” plays.
Recently, these were also installed on the platform for Imazu-bound trains at Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station, right? 😄
There have already been some changes on the Koyo Line platform↓

It seems the floor markings have changed recently, with new yellow numbering added and black borders placed around the tactile paving blocks〜!
Lastly
By the way, we already know that movable platform doors will be installed on the Kobe Line platform at Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station. It’s great to see facilities being upgraded so people can use various stations around Nishinomiya more safely and with peace of mind 😊
