The seafood izakaya “Hichifukujin,” located under the Hankyu elevated tracks in Nishida-cho, has closed.
(This information was provided by mn.)

There was a notice posted saying the tenant space is available. We’re not sure exactly when it closed, but the most recent comment on Tabelog was from a visit in December 2024, so it seems likely the restaurant closed recently.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is Sun Life Shukugawa 1F, 5-2 Nishida-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
Area around “Hichifukujin”

This is what it looks like across the street.

If you go this way, you’ll find Kita Hachi, Nishida Park, Taisha Post Office, and Kotobuki Police Box, heading toward Hankyu Shukugawa Station.

In the opposite direction, you’ll find CS Burger, Miyamame Coffee, “Kufuku wa Saiko no Spice Curry,” Cocokara Fine, and it leads out to Route 171.

Yajikita previously visited “Hichifukujin” for lunch and had the “chef’s choice 8-piece nigiri set.”

In Closing
It was a seafood izakaya where you could even enjoy drinks during the day, and apparently you could enjoy fresh seafood dishes at reasonable prices, including nigiri sushi, seafood bowls, assorted sashimi, and individual seafood hot pots. It seemed like a valuable spot along this stretch, so it’s sad to see it close.
※mn, thank you for the information!!
