Around noon on November 11, it looks like a nutria was walking along Shukugawa Oasis Road.

The address is around 1 Ohama-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Looking at it like this, it really does look like a cross between a wild boar and a rat, doesn’t it?
Next is a nutria walking around Koroen Station. It’s probably the same nutria as the one from earlier. By the way, nutria apparently aren’t very wary, and the one in this video also doesn’t seem to be running away. It’s heading north.
In Nishinomiya, you can also find nutria along the Muko River and Tsutogawa River. They’re designated invasive alien species and seem to live mainly in western Japan. Apparently, they give birth twice a year, with an average of five babies each time. Please be careful, as they may bite if you get too close.
