Cherry blossoms have been set up again this year at the 2nd-floor entrance of Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens.

They’re already almost in full bloom!
According to the Gardens website, they seem to have been installed about 2 or 3 days ago.

In past years, right after they were installed, there were still a lot of buds, and they gradually started blooming from there.
But this year, look at them🌸🌸🌸
The variety is “Higan-zakura.” As the name suggests, it’s an early-blooming cherry tree that flowers around the spring equinox period (mid-March). Even now, in early March, it’s already blooming quite a bit.
It’s nice to watch the blossoms gradually open from buds, but this year you get to see them almost in full bloom right away, which feels like a little bonus~
