There are tons of shops inside Nishinomiya-kitaguchi Station \(^o^)/
This article is brought to you by “Nishinomiya-kitaguchi Dental and Oral Surgery, open year-round,” a dental clinic that supports Nishitsu.
This is the third installment in our series where we pick a main dish and dessert for takeout from the station shops based purely on our own taste and bias~(^_^) This is technically the final chapter!!

Onigiri from “Onigiriya Hitotsubu”

They pack it up like this (^o^)/
The single-piece pack is an onigiri with fried chicken inside!

From the left: Salted Edamame ¥179 (before tax)… packed with plenty of edamame that has a nice salty kick!
Salmon ¥198 (before tax)… the salmon does not disappoint, and apparently it’s their No. 1 bestseller!
Grilled Tarako ¥198 (before tax)… the texture of grilled tarako is a perfect match for onigiri! This one was in the top five!
Sesame Kombu ¥170 (before tax)… this classic option is also one of the top five (*^^)v

This time we ate them on a park bench, so we couldn’t compare their sizes on a plate or cut them open, but they looked pretty big, probably because the fillings are so generous (^o^)/
Fried Chicken with Mentaiko Mayo and Takana ¥284 (before tax)… it feels like you get hit with deliciousness again and again in just one onigiri! Besides the piece of fried chicken you can see, there was another one inside too!

The filling is seriously packed in there \(^o^)/
According to Shacho, it feels like there’s about four times as much filling as a convenience store onigiri!
There was so much inside it was surprising in the best way! It felt like a great deal too!
※As of 5/7, Nishinomiya City prohibits parties, eating, and drinking inside parks.

“Morozoff” Custard Pudding and Fruit Glass Jelly

Morozoff is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year \(^o^)/

Custard Pudding ¥324 (tax included)
Morozoff’s commitment to custard pudding is seriously impressive. On their website, it says: “The custard pudding base is made only with carefully selected milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla flavoring. With no preservatives used at all, it is Morozoff’s secret recipe, unchanged since its launch, set using the power of eggs.”
It’s a long-loved flavor you can count on (*^^)v
Pudding feels like the kind of dessert where you can really taste the gentle richness of eggs, doesn’t it?

Fruit Glass Jelly Sato Nishiki & White Peach ¥270 (tax included)
There are large pieces of peach inside a pretty pink cherry-flavored jelly \(^o^)/
It wasn’t too sweet and had a nice smooth texture!
This is a limited-time item !(^^)!

Final Thoughts
The third installment of our station gourmet series features another unexpected combo following the previous one: onigiri and pudding!
This series, where we pair up takeout shops, is technically wrapping up with this article~ヽ(^o^)丿
Part 1↓
Part 2↓
Whether or not it helped as takeout inspiration… Nishinomiya-kitaguchi Station still has limited-time shops and even two cafes.
There might be a bonus edition someday^
