The construction period is scheduled from this year through Reiwa 7.
This fiscal year, it looks like they plan to remove trees, the park, and the restroom, create a detour route, and install the foundation piles for the new bridge.
The new bridge will be built on the west side of the current bridge, and once it’s complete, the park will apparently be rebuilt🙌

If you go this way along Mitarashi Street, you’ll head toward Koyoen.
In the opposite direction, there’s Kansai Super Taisha Store, and if you keep going, you’ll reach Route 171.
It looks like the new bridge will be built over here.
