What I Had at “Kissako Arimama”

They ask, “Would you like cold water, or would you prefer hot water?”(^^)/
I had hot water in a cute glassI’d already taken a little sip(^_^;)

Masala Chai 550 yen ・ Pumpkin Pudding Cake 600 yen 50 yen off when ordered as a drink set
The Masala Chai is a sweet milk tea with plenty of spice.
It’s the kind of comforting tea that warms you right to the core in cold weather.
It was sweet and really rich!
The Pumpkin Pudding Cake is handmade by the owner(*^-^*)
The rich pumpkin flavor spreads through its gentle sweetness. I love how sweets seem to show the personality of the person who made them💖

Peach Tea 500 yen ・ Seasonal Tart (Kinkan) 700 yen 50 yen off when ordered as a drink set
The Peach Tea has little cubes of peach sitting at the bottom of a lovely glass cup(*^-^*)
A hint of peach flavor is tucked inside the tea.
A generous serving of tea in such a beautiful glass warms both body and heart.
The Kinkan Crumble Tart is a treat from fluff, which has a workshop in Nose Town.
You can really feel how carefully it’s made, and the sweet-tart flavor of the kinkan makes your heart skip💔 It was that kind of tart! I want to come back and try different tarts every season!!
The drinks and desserts are brought out on a wooden tray.
※The beautiful plates and cute cups used in the café are also available for purchase. I’ll introduce them later(^^)/
“Kissako Arimama” Menu
Inside the Café at “Kissako Arimama”

I’ve never seen such a nice acrylic-style partition before! These are the counter seats(^^)/

Table seating where you can really feel the warmth of the wood(^^♪

All the lighting in the shop has such a soft, warm feel(*^-^*)
Inside “Kissako Arimama,” Filled with Carefully Selected Items

As soon as you step inside, carefully selected items are displayed as if they were arranged in a forest(^^)/

The vessels used for the tea and hot water are lined up too.

These hand-carved wooden bowls are by a precious artisan. After they were posted on Instagram, someone even came all the way from Nara to buy one!
Everything displayed here is something the owner has personally chosen with care(*^-^*)

Some of them are old and beautiful pieces.
“Just imagining when, what kind of person, and with what feelings they used these things is wonderful, isn’t it?” said the owner.

After hearing stories like that, the plates on display and the antique drawers start to feel even more wonderful!(^^)!

Little lives are part of the display too. You can also take home the soft coasters and cute spoons used in the café.
Handmade things are all different, one by one, and you may never come across the same thing again. It really feels like an encounter.
If you’re curious, definitely stop by(^^)/
