- The full start of the designated garbage bag system has changed from April 1 to July 1.
- Burnable garbage can be put out in Nishinomiya City designated garbage bags labeled “Household Use・Burnable Garbage,” or in commercially available garbage bags, etc.
- Other plastics can be put out in Nishinomiya City designated garbage bags labeled “Household Use・Other Plastics,” or in transparent bags where the contents are visible.

Apparently, this is due to delays in manufacturing and distribution caused by COVID-19, including reduced production at overseas factories and slowdowns in shipping and other transport.
