Welcome to “Nishitsu Nante Iu?”, a section where we ask readers what they call certain things in Nishinomiya and turn their answers into articles.
(This article was inspired by a tip from 7013F HK. Thank you!)
This time’s question is: what do you call a “seesaw”?

We usually just say “seesaw,” but we asked the Nishitsu members too.

When we looked into it, besides “seesaw,” there seem to be lots of other names depending on the region, such as “gikkon-battan,” “gittan-bakkon,” “battanko,” “gittan-battan,” and “gikkon-bakkon”!
We’re excited to see which name Miyakko locals use most!
