It looks like KidZania Koshien is getting a new pavilion called “Packaging Lab,” where kids can design packaging for new products.

The activity will be available from the second session on Monday, March 13, 2023.
This pavilion was originally where kids could try the “Printing Engineer” job, and it seems to have been renewed into a design-related job while keeping the same sponsor.
Back when it was the Printing Engineer activity, kids made a notebook called a stamp book.
Overview of the New Activity
- As package designers, kids create packaging for a new product that makes customers feel like they want to buy it.
- Through package-making, they learn about materials and design elements, and how manufacturing can enrich customers’ lives.
It seems participants will receive a sample package as their finished product.
Since it involves design, each child’s personality will probably come through, so it’ll be really exciting to see what they create😊 And learning about packaging might change the way they look at everyday shopping too, which could be a nice part of their growth.
