Today, 5/5, I went to check out an event called “KIDS FESTA2023” being held at Nishinomiya Beach Resort. It’s on until 7:00 p.m.〜
It really has that beach vibe〜.
There were six food trucks!! And since it’s KIDS FESTA2023, there were koinobori carp streamers too!

It’s a pie shop〜 pretty unusual〜
I ended up buying some shaken fries〜. The consommé flavor is nice〜.
The smell of the keema curry was so good it was hard not to be drawn in〜
A cheese dog shop. There was quite a line〜.
Isn’t an onigiri food truck kind of rare〜? It feels like something that should exist, but you don’t really see it. They had lots of unusual foods too, like somen noodles.
So
This is not takoyaki〜〜〜. What it is was on the menu in the previous photo〜. It was nice and fluffy〜
Since it was Children’s Day, there were lots of koinobori drawings by children on display〜
The shops inside the beach resort were busy too.
You can see kids wearing life jackets in the back.
They were offering cruising experiences too.
There was canoeing as well,
and maybe SUP? The kind you ride by yourself〜
It looked super fun〜.
The stage was lively too〜.
At the kamishibai picture-story show, they were telling a story about Tatsuuma-Honke Brewing, one of Nishinomiya’s proud sake breweries〜.
Finally
Nishinomiya has mountains, rivers, and the sea, so it’s great that you can enjoy all kinds of nature-related experiences in different places〜. It’s on until 7:00 p.m., so feel free to stop by〜. There are two parking areas. It’s a bit crowded. Sorry if they’re full〜.
