On May 10, Shachomi stopped by the Thai food truck “Im House Cafe”, which was parked in front of Furuno Electric. She bought a variety of items, including the Danish crepe “roti” and drinks, so here’s the report.
目次
“Im House Cafe’s” “Chocolate Banana Roti,” “Mango Cream Cheese Roti,” and “Butterfly Lemonade”

Chocolate Banana Roti 550 yen (tax included)
Roti is a Danish-style crepe popular at Thai street stalls.
Here’s a closer look.
The outside is crispy, while the inside is chewy.
The Danish-like buttery flavor and the sweetness of the fillings fill your mouth. This feels totally new!

Mango Cream Cheese Roti 550 yen (tax included)
You often see crepes with whipped cream, right? But this crepe has cream cheese inside!
A closer look.
The creaminess of the cream cheese and the refreshing flavor of mango create a perfectly balanced sweetness and tartness.

Butterfly Lemonade 400 yen (tax included)
It uses natural coloring extracted from the bluish-purple “butterfly pea” flower, and the gradient with the lemon is beautiful〜✨A photogenic drink that looks refreshing too!

We were allowed to take photos on the open deck of Furuno Electric SOUTH WING.
“Im House Cafe’s” Food Truck

The “Im House Cafe” that visited this time is apparently a Thai food truck based in Nishinomiya, run together with her Thai husband.
It was at the familiar spot: in front of Furuno Electric SOUTH WING.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 8-1 Jingikancho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
More food truck visits are already being lined up one after another!!

The Berry Cream Cheese Roti looks tempting too!

They also have a full lineup of Thai food, including gapao rice and pad Thai✨

There are two kinds of curry: panaeng curry and green curry.

Apparently, you could also get a half-and-half curry plate.

You can also buy drinks commonly enjoyed in Thailand, such as Thai milk tea, pink milk, and butterfly pea lemonade.

The drinks came in these easy-to-carry handle bags.
Final Thoughts
Danish-style crepe roti. It was a new kind of crepe, different from any crepe I’d had before. I’d love to try another flavor too. Since they’re based in Nishinomiya and set up at different spots, definitely check them out if you happen to see them. Next week, we’re planning to post a follow-up gourmet report on the “Gapao Rice” and the “Pink Milk” drink, so stay tuned!
