A Bon Odori dance tower has been set up at Miyodaihiraki Park.
(Thanks to Bon Odorer-san, Atama ga Bossa Nova & Hamamu @ Nishitsu supporters for the tip!)
Here it is↓

Lanterns are hanging up too, and it looks like the annual Bon Odori is being held yesterday, 8/23, and today, 8/24.

The address is 3-8 Koshienguchi, Nishinomiya City.
The North-Facing Jizo in Kamikoshien

It looks like there’s also a festival event for the Jizo next to カバのおしり。

They’re apparently handing out offerings to children who come to pray. From 15:00 to 19:00.

This is the Jizo right near Kurakuen-guchi Station. It was open until 15:00 m(__)m
In Closing
Jizo Bon is apparently held every year on August 23 and 24. Sometimes Bon Odori dances are also held on the weekends around those dates. Cleaning the Jizo statues, renewing their aprons, making offerings, decorating with lanterns, and holding Bon Odori are all traditional parts of Jizo Bon. For children, it’s an event where they visit the Jizo and receive sweets. If you send us photos of Jizo statues from Jizo Bon events around Nishinomiya, we’d like to add them to this article.
※Bon Odorer-san, Atama ga Bossa Nova & Hamamu @ Nishitsu supporters, thank you for the information!!
