It appears the restaurant closed on Saturday, December 9, due to the owner’s poor health.
Once the owner has fully recovered and the timing is right, they seem to be hoping to reopen in a new location😊
Here is the map↓
The address is 3-17-11 Koshienguchi, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area around “Karaage Shokudo Nakagawaya”

If you go this way, you’ll find Ajitsutsumi, Nagomi Ramen, Life, and more.

If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll find Aji no Katsumasu, the kushikatsu izakaya “Ono Shoten,” and then reach the shopping street’s main road. It’s the area where the Oinari-san shrine is located.
Nakagawaya has also been featured in Nishitsu’s gourmet coverage before.

Their karaage, fried twice at low and high temperatures, came in large pieces and was crispy despite its thin coating, with plenty of volume.
Finally
It’s worrying to hear that the temporary closure is due to poor health. When they reopen, we’d really love to see them come back somewhere close to their current location😊
