The shops on the 2nd floor of “Hanshin Nishinomiya” closed on December 31 for renovations. We went to take a look at what happened.

Since almost the entire 2nd floor is closed, we thought the escalator from the 1st floor might no longer be usable.

The escalator can still be used, but you won’t be able to pass through the shops on the 2nd floor.

Please note that to get to the Culture Club, you’ll need to use the escalator on the west side of the 1st floor. Afternoon Tea Room, which will continue operating, can be entered from the station side.

The information center on the 2nd floor. The sign says, “We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.” Somehow, it felt a little lonely.

Closing time was coming up. 6:00 p.m.

The shutter began to come down. The staff from the 2nd floor came out.

Since the floor was temporarily closing as of today, Hanshin Nishinomiya store manager Onishi and the rest of the staff greeted everyone with a “Thank you very much.”

Everyone seemed so warm and friendly with each other. That made it feel even sadder.

At the very end, they were waving and saying bye-bye.

The shutter closing.

The shutter was almost closed. But they kept waving bye-bye until the very end.

They went that far for us〜😭

It’s temporarily closed.
We’re sure they’ll show us an amazing renovation. Please look forward to another surprising article from Nishitsu next year.
