They were still the old gates until the 18th, so maybe they changed them overnight?
They feel newer than any other station!? As expected of Nishinomiya!
It seems like Hanshin Nishinomiya Station’s gates were updated starting on the 19th.
It looks like they’ve added a QR code area and a contactless credit card payment area.

It’s nice that the response has improved. The LED display makes it easier to see, too. It looks like more stations around Nishinomiya will be getting these new gates one after another. Hankyu seems to be introducing something similar as well
