A daily bento shop called “みるく” has opened in Ohatacho along Route 171.
(Thanks to Hiro-san and Kaeitsu @ Nishitsu SP for the tip.)
Here it is↓

At night, there was a hanging banner that said bento.

When Kaeitsu supporter went to report on it, the shop sign had apparently been taken down because of the strong wind.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 10-2 Ohatacho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
This spot used to be “東照閣,” followed by “ラーメン泰侖(タイロン).”
Area around “みるく”

This is what it looks like across the street.

If you go this way, you’ll reach Mondo-Yakujin, and past the elevated tracks you’ll find Nakatsuhama Line and other areas.

If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll find Joshin, the Central Gymnasium, and more.

Today’s (2/26) daily bento has fried chicken, simmered Chinese cabbage, and sweet potato salad.
The large is 700 yen and the small is 550 yen. Miso soup is 100 yen. It’s nice that they have a small size for people who prefer a lighter meal.

This is the small one for 500 yen.

This is the large one for 700 yen. It comes with two extra side dishes.
Apparently, only the side dishes are packed into the bento in advance, and after you order, they add warm rice straight from the rice cooker.

A three-side-dish set is 500 yen. They say this is available on some days and not on others.

Looks like they open from 11:00.
Finally
There’s something exciting about a daily bento, isn’t there? By the way, this location used to be home to a long-established Chinese restaurant called 東照閣, then briefly became a ramen shop called 泰侖 (Tairon), but it closed soon after and had been left as-is for quite a while. I’m sure many people had been wondering what would open here next.
※Hiro-san and Kaeitsu @ Nishitsu SP, thank you for the information!!
