Today, from Wednesday, March 27 to Sunday, March 31, we went to check out the scene at “Hanshin Nishinomiya,” where select items from the newly opened “eashion” and “コロッケのいろは” are available at special grand-opening prices.

It was 9:45 a.m. Here’s what Hanshin Nishinomiya looked like before opening. Maybe a morning staff meeting?

We got to take a quick look just before opening.

They sell all kinds of croquettes here. This shop is…

The croquettes are super thickThey were all thick, every kind.

The nori bento is specially priced from the regular 843 yen down to 756 yen. Looks like the “Wagyu Beef Meshi” in the back hasn’t been put out yet.

Ohhh! Wagyu in beef meshi?! They were right in the middle of making it.

The store opened at 10 a.m., and customers started coming in one after another, making the place lively.

The Wagyu Beef Meshi was safely on display too. Special price: 864 yen (tax included).

Since we were there, we tried a few menu items.
Shachobi Tried Them
We’ll introduce five deli items and bentos in total.
Croquettes and Bentos from “コロッケのいろは”

Five-piece croquette set Regular price 540 yen → 501 yen (tax included) *Special price available until March 31
They’re nearly twice as thick as regular croquettes. The chunky potatoes have a nice bite. The nostalgic curry flavor is our pick! It’s not spicy, so kids can enjoy it too.

Croquette Shop Nori Bento Regular price 843 yen → 756 yen (tax included) *Special price available until March 31

This is the one that personally impressed me. Tofu cutlet. It has carrots and other ingredients inside, and the seasoning is just right. They sold it individually too.
Deli Items and Bentos from “eashion”

Liver cutlet Regular price 200 yen → 181 yen (tax included)*Special price available until March 31
The liver flavor isn’t too strong, but you can still taste it clearly. A nice balance. It has a moist texture, and the sweet sauce goes really well with it.

Demi-glace Hamburger Steak & Beef Sagari Garlic Rice Gozen Regular price 1,190 yen → 981 yen (tax included)*Special price available until March 31
The hamburger steak and the meat are both sure winners! Isn’t it rare for a bento to come with a baguette?! It’s also delicious dipped in the demi-glace sauce.

Western-style Bento (~Seafood Paella~) 1,190 yen (tax included)
