Surutto Kurutto Installed at Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station’s Ticket Gates

The ticket gates at Nishinomiya-kitaguchi Station now have “Surutto QRtto” installed.

Surutto QRtto

A digital ticket service using QR codes will start in June 2024. That service is Surutto QRtto (Kurutto).

How to use it↓

1. Buy a ticket on your smartphone
2. A QR code is issued on your smartphone
3. Scan the QR code on your smartphone → pass through the ticket gate

Most people probably use PiTaPa or ICOCA, so maybe this is aimed at overseas visitors. Or, to put it more stylishly, inbound tourists. Once the Expo starts, I wonder if more foreign visitors will come to Nishinomiya too.
