What is the Yumehaku Mobile Museum?
The images below are quoted from the Yumehaku Mobile Museum – Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Hyogo (“Hitohaku”) Yumehaku usage guide pamphlet PDF.

This is a mobile truck-style museum operated by the “Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Hyogo”, a natural history museum in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture, themed around “the coexistence of people and nature.” The inside of the truck itself serves as the exhibition space, and it apparently travels to schools, kindergartens, nursery schools, event venues, and other locations around Hyogo Prefecture.

Visitors can apparently view a variety of exhibits while listening to expert explanations from researchers, including specimens of insects, animals, fish, mushrooms, and more, as well as dinosaur fossils (replicas), rocks, materials, and other displays🦋

Lastly
Museums are usually places you visit yourself, so it’s pretty exciting that one is coming as a mobile exhibition♪ Having a truck turn into an exhibition space feels fresh and fun, and it seems like it’ll make for a great memory😊 It’s also perfect for kids who haven’t finished their summer vacation independent research project yet!
