Since I’d never been to the “Nishinomiyahama Summer Festival” before, (and it was held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., no less)

Yesterday, 8/27 (Sun), I tried figuring out how to get from Shukugawa to Nishinomiyahama by a method other than driving〜. That’s Kataboko Bridge in Shukugawa in the background
Did you know there’s a shared bicycle station called Hello Cycling in front of Shukugawa Community Center?
Believe it or not, it’s 130 yen for 30 minutes.
Using this, I’m going to head to Hanshin Nishinomiya Station, which is technically the nearest station to Nishinomiyahama.
By the way, there are mainly 3 routes from Shukugawa to Hanshin Nishinomiya Station.

The advantage of going by bicycle is that it gets you there faster than any other method〜 (though for some reason this route doesn’t go over Kataboko Bridge💦)
But it’s hot
The temperature that day was 33 degrees. Still, thankfully the distance was short.
The travel time was an incredible 7 minutes!! Fast! It was surprisingly easy〜
The bicycle parking area at Ebisuta Nishinomiya, the closest spot to Hanshin Nishinomiya Station, is a Hello Cycling station, so I returned the bicycle here.
From Hanshin Nishinomiya Station, you can get to Nishinomiyahama by Hanshin Bus. The stop is on the south side.

Made it just in time〜〜〜! Or so I thought, but apparently there were still 2-3 minutes before departure
So that doesn’t happen to you, I’ll leave the timetable(weekends and holidays) here for the Hanshin Nishinomiya South Exit bus bound for Nishinomiyahama (Marina Park). I’ll also leave the bus arrival info, which shows how many minutes until the bus arrives when it’s delayed.
The Hanshin Bus is an essential lifeline for Nishinomiyahama locals. We’re departing from Hanshin Nishinomiya〜
Basically, the bus bound for Marina Park follows a simple route south along the Fudabasuji Line.
The stops along the way are “Honmachi,” “Kotsu Koen-mae,” and “Kurakakecho (the area with Starbucks and such).” After that, you enter Nishinomiyahama.
I got off at the stop called “Marina Park Minami.” It’s next to the yacht harbor, and there’s a really spacious grassy plaza there〜
I got off because I was convinced the summer festival was being held there, but it didn’t look like anything was happening here… You’re probably thinking, “How do you not know this when you’re Nishitsu?” Assumptions are powerful things
By chance, a Nishitsu reader was there, so when I asked where the festival was, they told me, “It’s at Mori no Machi〜” Thanks again for letting me know〜〜
