When “Nama” Shokupan Sogyoka, which opened near Imazu Station on Friday, November 1, announced it would be giving away 111 loaves of fresh shokupan for free, Nishitsu reader Minto went there at 10:00.

It looks like numbered tickets had been handed out.
Since the numbered tickets had already been distributed by 10:00, the line was gone.

Now, here’s our report
Go straight ahead and you’ll reach the spot. It already feels kind of crowded.
Around 10:55. What a huge line!
It had a festive sort of atmosphere, and everyone looked like they were having fun.
And no wonder! Former Hanshin Tigers player Yoshio Itoi was there!
So lots of people were taking photos with their phones.
The person calling out to customers for the free giveaway of 111 loaves at 11:01 was Yuji Sakagami.
There was a huge sign of Sakagami on the shop!
The fresh shokupan handed out today each had a serial number.
This one is lucky number 24 (Nishitsu).
We spoke with the lucky person who was first in line this time. They were a Nishitsu reader
They started lining up at 6:30 in the morning! Amazing!! By the way, the person who came second arrived around 8:00.
A Nishitsu reader who got number 13 started lining up at 8:30. It really seems like you had to get there early to get one.
We got a quick look at the fresh shokupan, and even through the bag you could tell the bread was incredibly fluffy. Now we’re curious!
Sakagami handed the fresh shokupan to the first through sixth people,
and then, what a surprise! Itoi himself, who had number 7, handed one to a customer, and even shook their hand! That’s exciting!
It looked like they were going to sell roasted sweet potatoes too.
“Nama” Shokupan Sogyoka is already getting attention in Nishinomiya. We’re looking forward to seeing what kinds of products they’ll offer next!
