An announcement on Instagram says the shop will close on Tuesday, December 31.
The December business schedule notes that the 28th is the “last day for sweets,” the 29th and 30th are regular closing days, and the 31st is “for hors d’oeuvre pickup only.”
It seems they are currently holding a “50% off all Taiwanese tea” sale to clear out inventory.
The Instagram post also says, “We hope to do something again someday,” so perhaps they may open a shop again sometime 😊
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 1F, 5-24 Matsubara-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area Around “雪月菓”
The following photos were taken at the end of October m(_ _)m

Across the street is Toda Acupuncture and Osteopathic Clinic.

If you go this way, you’ll find Seven-Eleven, Hachiware Crepe, the Fukushi Center, the planned site for Kinder Kids Nishinomiya School, and other spots, leading out to the Naruo-Mikage Line.

If you go the other way, you’ll reach National Route 2. Fronte Nishinomiya and JR Nishinomiya Station are also nearby.
We’ve also featured 雪月菓 in a Nishi2 food article↓

The “fluffy, fizzy” texture of the Taiwanese castella was such a fresh experience.
Finally
One of our information providers also sent us a message saying, “Their Taiwanese castella was amazing, so this is really sad 😭” Since specialty shops for Chinese and Taiwanese sweets are rare in Nishinomiya, it’s truly a shame to see it close 😢 Personally, when I think of Chinese sweets, I love “mooncakes (gekkei),” and it seems 雪月菓 carries various kinds of mooncakes as well. If you’re interested, be sure to stop by before they close.
*Kumichan-san and Pompon-san, thank you very much for the information!!
