Here it is ↓

The photos show the blossoms as of the morning of Monday, February 24 📸 There are still lots of buds, but some flowers are starting to bloom here and there 🌸

The pink plum blossoms are starting to bloom too. The stamens are opened wide, and they look so cute〜😊
Here’s the blooming status as of 2/27 ↓

It says they’re 20% in bloom 😃
By the way, around this time last year (2024), they had already passed full bloom and were “starting to fall”.
This year has had lots of cold days, and quite a few days with light snow, so the blooming may be a bit late. For reference, around this time two years ago (2023), they were 80% in bloom. So yes, this year really does seem late
From farther back, it looks like this ↓

The branches are still pretty noticeable〜😃

When will they reach full bloom, we wonder〜?
Quoted from Nishinomiya City 2-Week Weather Forecast (formerly 10-Day Weather) – Japan Weather Association tenki.jp
By the way, this weekend, March 1 (Sat) and 2 (Sun), the high temperature is expected to jump all at once to around 17°C!

When it suddenly gets warm, the flowers can bloom all at once, so if you’re thinking of going to see them, be sure to check the blooming calendar〜😊
*Thank you, Hank @ Nishitsu SP, for the information!!
