A “blue yuru-chara mascot” showed up around Carillon Plaza at Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station today, Friday 3/7.

Around 4:15 p.m. It looked kind of like a ninja character.
This seems to be PiTaPa’s mascot character, “Pitamoru.”
Looks like it was there to promote the STACIA PiTaPa Card. Since the sign says “2 days left,” it might also be coming on the 8th and 9th. By the way, I have a STACIA PiTaPa Card too. It’s a handy credit card for places like Gardens.
Still, people passing by didn’t really seem to know what character it was, and I didn’t hear anyone calling it by name. But everyone was definitely saying, “So cute!”

When I pointed the camera at it, it waved a lot. So cute!!
