It looks like they’re looking for people to run together from Nishinomiya Shrine to Nishi-Akashi Station on Saturday, April 5.
Here it is↓

Sensei @ Nishi2, aka GPS runner Naoki Shimizu, is apparently looking for people to run with him on Saturday, April 5, the first day of his project to run 3,700 km across the Japanese archipelago〜🏃🏃🏃

The route is “Nishinomiya Ebisu Shrine ⇒ Nishi-Akashi Station”, about 42 km. If you finish it, that’s a full marathon distance✨
And apparently, they’ll run at the pace of the slowest person〜🙌
Joining partway through is OK, leaving midway is OK, and even meeting up only at the finish is OK — a super flexible style😆
They’re planning to depart Nishinomiya Ebisu Shrine at 9:00 and arrive at Nishi-Akashi Station around 16:00.

“Reference” Google Maps
The route traced on this run will become part of a 3,700 km-long ground drawing of a “runner” figure✨ Starting on this day, Sensei @ Nishi2 will run around a full-marathon distance every day over about 120 days to complete the ground drawing〜🏃By the way, part of the running schedule looks like this
After finishing on the first day, Saturday 4/5, it sounds like there will also be a casual after-run meetup at the craft beer brewery “BRIDGE BEERS BREWING” in front of Nishi-Akashi Station〜🍻
Details about this project are here↓
Finally
It sounds fun and laid-back, and even someone like me who isn’t great at long-distance running might be able to do it if the pace is slow and leaving midway is OK〜😆 If you’re thinking, “I want to try running together!”, you can sign up to join from here〜.
is planning to run along too〜!
