Here it is on the map↓
The address is 20-16 Koshien Nanabancho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo. It’s the spot where the hamburger shop “IVY-BURGER” and the Korean izakaya “ワァオ” used to be.
The first menu item↓

Taiwan mazesoba is 1,000 yen! It’s nice that a large serving is free! Takeout is also available.
More details↓

Apparently, a large serving = 1.5 portions of noodles. Also, there’s salt, spicy, and probably curry??? maybe. It’s hidden and hard to see💦
- The aroma of extra-thick whole wheat noodles plus a chewy, springy texture
- Homemade minced meat × secret Taiwan-style sauce
- A blend of several kinds of fish powder for an addictive flavor

Rich Chicken Paitan Ramen with Back Fat (white poster)
- A rich soup made with collagen from chicken bones and aromatic vegetables, topped with back fat
- Homemade chicken oil (chiyu) boosts the aroma. A strong hit of chicken!
Tuna Flakes Chuka Soba (purple poster)
- Premium tuna flakes + dried grilled flying fish + a blend of several kinds of dried sardines
- Japanese dashi base. A light seafood soup
- It says “even women can drink it down to the last drop”
So it looks like there are three options: chicken paitan for those who like rich flavors, tuna flakes for those who prefer something lighter, and Taiwan mazesoba.
By the way, all three are priced at 1,000 yen. Easy to understand. But I’d definitely want to add the seasoned egg for +150 yen〜.
- 台湾まぜそば60.6%(43票)
- 濃厚背脂 鶏白湯ラーメン19.7%(14票)
- マグロ節中華そば19.7%(14票)
Business hours are from 11:00 to 15:00, and evening hours are 17:00 to 23:00 (last order at 22:30)〜. They say there will be no regular closing days for the time being.
Final Thoughts
Personally, I’m more into lighter flavors, so I’d go with the tuna flakes. Grilled flying fish means ago dashi. In other words, it’s packed with the key umami components glutamic acid and inosinic acid. Next door is 手羽寅さん, known for Taiwanese fried chicken, so it looks like you’ll be able to do a little Taiwan food tour in Koshien.
