Nishinomiya Specialty Ebisu-yaki at Ebisya Komatsu Shoten Near Ebessan Is Temporarily Suspended

It looks like Nishinomiya’s local specialty “Ebisu-yaki” from “Ebisuyakomatsu Shoten” in Babacho near Nishinomiya Shrine is currently not being sold.

There was a notice posted at the shop saying, “Ebisu-yaki sales are currently on pause.”

The shop itself is still happily open, and it seems the other menu items(homemade soft-serve ice cream, eat-in shaved ice, anmitsu, and more) are still available!

When Nishitsu supporter Ravi no Shippo asked the shop, they said they have stopped selling Ebisu-yaki during the summer as a food poisoning prevention measure.

It sounds like they’ll start selling it again once the weather cools down 😄

Another thing Ebisuyakomatsu Shoten is known for is its homemade soft-serve ice cream! 🍦 Their shaved ice, which you can enjoy in the sweets cafe area, also seems popular. I’d love to try it someday 😋There’s always a line, so I haven’t been able to go yet, but someday for sure!!

Finally

They said Ebisu-yaki will return once it gets cooler, so maybe the next time we can eat it will be around September or October…? We won’t be able to have it for a while, but they still have soft-serve ice cream, shaved ice, and other treats that are perfect for this season, so be sure to stop by! They may announce the restart timing later on their official X or elsewhere 😄
