For three days from September 21 (Sun) to 23 (Tue, national holiday), the annual “Nishinomiya Festival” will be held at Nishinomiya Shrine.
(Information provided by Hage Kacchan and Misty)
Here it is↓

Held every year on September 22, the “Reisai” is the most important ritual at Nishinomiya Shrine.
Centered around that day, the “Yoimiya Festival” is held on the 21st, and the “Togyosai” is held on the 23rd. Together, these three days are called the “Nishinomiya Festival.”
What is Togyosai?
- A festival based on the story of a statue of Ebisu being found in the sea. The statue is placed in a mikoshi portable shrine and carried to shrines connected to it.
- The procession departs by boat from Shin-Nishinomiya Yacht Harbor and travels along the Nishinomiya coastline, with a ritual held off Omaehama to pray for safety.
- Participants visit Wada Shrine and Mitsuishi Shrine, both closely connected to Ebisu.
