We received lots of photos and videos from readers showing the Expo fireworks and drones as seen from Nishinomiya!
Imazu
These were filmed from Imazu by Tamotomo-san.
It’s wonderful that they could be seen so clearly even from Imazu. There’s also a full-length video.
Tsuto Chuo Park
From Kibaru Sanjuro-san, taken from the bridge over the Higashi River at Tsuto Chuo Park.

You can see them peeking out between the apartment buildings. When you think about it like this, the Expo fireworks really were amazing.
The Edge of the Mukogawa River
This information came from an anonymous reader. Looking at the map, the edge of the Mukogawa River seems to go out as far as the little protruding area near the Wangan Route, so it was probably around there.

Myaku-Myaku appears beyond the buildings. This kind of view can only be seen from here. So precious!
Nishinomiyahama
This was sent in by someone with the nickname “near Koshien Stadium,” but the location is Nishinomiyahama.

This is what the Expo fireworks looked like from around Shin-Nishinomiya Yacht Harbor.
They’re far away, but you can still clearly see the set-piece fireworks! Nishinomiyahama looks like it was really lively.
Nishinomiyahama Ohashi Bridge
Miichami-san filmed the Expo fireworks for us from Nishinomiya Ohashi Bridge.

Look, look! The bridge you can see is the one connecting Nishinomiyahama and Koshienhama. The fireworks fit perfectly in between. It looks fantastic. It’s such a lovely photo that it makes us wish we could have shared this view sooner.
Naruohama
Provided by Acchan.

Since this is the closest spot in Nishinomiya to the Expo site, the fireworks look the biggest from here. This was probably zoomed in, though.
One of the big things that stands out about Naruohama is that “Hotaru no Hikari” starts playing partway through. That’s because it’s closing time at the Sea Fishing Park. The full video is here .
Next, here’s information from Mitchy-san.
From Naruohama, it looks like they were able to film it at nearly the same size as being there in person, probably with an amazing camera. Still, when you see it on-site, Myaku-Myaku feels even more 3D. Strangely enough. Maybe it’s the angle
The flying car was also seen from Naruohama. I wonder if it flew fairly close? Did anyone see it?
Bonus: From the Expo Site
Ankazu-san also sent us footage from the Expo site.
Fireworks around the Pasona Pavilion. The full version is here.
Next is a drone show seen from the Grand Ring, sent in by Manabu Taguchi-san.
This was apparently from the Grand Ring near the east escalator! The full video is here .
Shachomi was also at the venue on the final day! This might be pretty close to the very center!
This is the full version. Of course, those who went in person should watch it, but if you’ve only ever seen it from Nishinomiya, watching it together with the music might make you feel something special.
Finally
The fireworks and drones from the Kansai Osaka Expo could be seen from Nishinomiya day after day. The final day was on a level we may never get to see again. We hope this reaches those who weren’t able to see it. May Nishinomiya someday host a grand fireworks festival and drone show of its own🙏
