What kind of gachapon is it?
I looked into it a bit.
Apparently, it’s an event jointly run by Hankyu Railway and JR West, and it’s a coupon gachapon you can play for 100 yen per turn. The coupons can be used at shops across seven genres, with values ranging from 100 yen to 5,000 yen. They can reportedly be used at 48 shops in the Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe areas.
The genres are like this:
- East Asia
- South and Southeast Asia
- Europe
- North and South America
- Japanese izakaya
- Kansai soul food 〈konamon and kushikatsu〉
- Standing bars

Lastly
From Nishinomiya, one shop is included: 炭火焼鳥 つくねや. Its genre is Japanese izakaya. We previously had a feature on Nishi2 called Izakaya Drinking for 3,000 Yen, so if you pull a 5,000 yen coupon, you could go pretty big!
