It looks like the Jizo statue near Omaehama Park is looking for a new home.

The address is around 5 Nishihatocho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
What kind of Jizo statue is it?
We went to the site and took some photos.

At the corner of the road, there’s a small shrine that’s half embedded in the wall.

Inside is a stone shrine, with a Jizo statue wearing a red bib. So cute.
Why is it looking for a new home?
The land where the shrine stands has been sold, so the Jizo statue now needs to be moved.
This Jizo has long been familiar to people in the area, and in summer it even becomes a place for neighbors to gather during Jizo-bon. The former landowner offered to donate it to the city, but the response was that “since it is not a road facility, it would be difficult to accept.”
Currently, they are collecting ideas from members of the local neighborhood association and working together with a real estate company to see if it might be possible to relocate it to a nearby park, among other options.
Finally
Nishi2 previously helped rescue a Jizo statue in Tsuto Sumiecho from a river on “Tantei! Knight Scoop,” so we’re really curious about what will happen to this Jizo too. This Jizo has been watching over the local community, so we hope it finds a good new home.
