This initiative is part of Nishinomiya City’s “Walkable Promotion Project Around City Hall.”
Nishinomiya City is registered as one of the “Walkable Promotion Cities” promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
The idea is to create “comfortable city spaces that make people want to walk” and shift “urban spaces from car-centered to people-centered”. As part of that effort, food trucks will set up in front of City Hall.

Schedules from January onward will be announced around the 25th of the previous month on Nishinomiya City’s official Instagram.

The address is 10-3 Rokutanji-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
Here’s a closer look at where the trucks will set up. It’s right in front of City Hall’s main gate.
The area in front of City Hall actually has more greenery than you might expect, with a park🏞 nearby and a temple that has camphor trees🌳, Nishinomiya City’s official tree. If you’ve only ever gone to City Hall for paperwork, why not take this chance to enjoy lunch from a food truck?
