In Closing
This shop had a style where side dishes were already packed into the bento box, and you could choose your favorite okowa (sticky rice) to add. According to reviews, they had okowa varieties such as sekihan (red bean rice), beef, chestnut, mushroom, gomoku mixed rice, and chirimen jako, with some people saying the chewy texture was irresistible. It’s a shame to see it close. Tagosaku also has locations on the 1st floor of Nishinomiya Hankyu at Nishinomiya Kitaguchi and at Hanshin Department Store in Umeda.
