Sukesan Udon
is finally coming to Nishinomiya🙌
It seems it will open in the current first-floor location of “Yumean.”

What’s around “Sukesan Udon Nishinomiya Kagura”
Across the street is Alfa Romeo Nishinomiya.
If you go this way, you’ll find Kura Sushi, Mokkosu Ramen, Porsche, Isoya Namihei, Osaka Udon Inanoji, and more, heading toward Hanshin Nishinomiya.
In the opposite direction, there’s Life, Domino’s Pizza, Ringer Hut, and others, heading toward Ashiya.
What is “Sukesan Udon”?
“Sukesan Udon(すけさんうどん)” is a local udon chain that started in Kitakyushu. Two years ago, two locations also opened in neighboring Amagasaki〜
In Nishinomiya, a Sukesan Udon food truck once came to Kohnan Imazu, and at the time, it sold out in just 15 minutes, making it something of a “legendary udon.”
Known for its chewy noodles and gentle dashi broth, it seems to have a wide-ranging menu that includes classics like goboten udon and meat udon, as well as kashiwa-meshi, oden, and botamochi.

It’s sad to see Yumean go, but for anyone who’s been thinking, “I wish Sukesan Udon would open in Nishinomiya,” this is great news😄 According to Iroha @ Nishi2 supporter, the noodles are “pleasantly chewy, almost like shiratama dumplings stretched into noodles.” Sukesan Udon is said to be soul food for people from Kyushu. It definitely makes you want to try it at least once〜!
