It looks like NHK’s “Ohayou Nippon,” airing today, will feature the wild boars near Nishida Park in a segment on wild boars during the 7 a.m. hour.

It seems they’ll be covering the wild boars from our recent article, “Apparently five wild boars showed up near Nishida Park. That’s rare for this area.” NHK reached out to us about it.

Wild boars in Nishinomiya have been moving farther south than expected, and with the recent bear-related issues as well, the segment may touch on that connection too.
Wild boars can be seen in various places around Nishinomiya, but there may be a chance they’ll start appearing in areas where they haven’t been seen before, so it’s probably useful to know about this.
