We Visited the New Komeda’s Coffee in Imazu

Komeda’s Coffee Hanshin Imazu Station Front opened at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24! KAZU, a Nishitsu supporter, went to check it out, so here’s what it was like.

Arrived around 6:40! No one was lined up yet.

The address is 2-2 Imazu Mizunamicho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.

Right in front of Hanshin Imazu Station~ I accidentally wrote Hanshin Nishinomiya before🙏

KAZU, our Nishitsu supporter, was first in line!! Amazing.

Inside, the staff were practicing their smiles and such,

and it looked like they were right in the middle of their morning meeting.

By just before 7:00, there were about three people lined up behind KAZU.

From opening day through March 1, they’ll be open until 6:00 p.m.

Takeout starts from March 16~

We tried the selectable morning set

They let people in a little early, around 6:55!

we ordered the classic boiled egg option with butter. Customers started coming in quickly, and soon there were about 10 people. KAZU said the bread-and-coffee set, paired with that relaxed atmosphere, made for a really great morning!

Komeda’s Coffee is amazing in that “reverse menu fraud” way, where the actual food looks even better than the menu photos.

The sofas are spacious too, giving the place a nice, relaxing atmosphere~

The manager even came all the way to the table and said, “Thank you for being our very first customer!” lol

Power outlets, Wi-Fi, and wheelchair access

The seats have AC power outlets,

and there’s also Wi-Fi you can use for 60 minutes. That’s really handy right by the station.

And wheelchair users can enter too. That’s a big plus!

The restroom is spacious as well~

Things to know

Coffee tickets from the Hanshin Nishinomiya and Koshien branches cannot be used here. Apparently, they’re part of a different group. Good to keep in mind.

Also, there were no opening commemorative gifts or flyers at all. Since the staff are still getting used to things, it seems they’re intentionally keeping the announcements low-key for now.

When KAZU was leaving, five staff members saw them off, and the manager introduced them by saying, “This was our first customer!” lol
