The sandpit that used to be there is gone, and the slide has been replaced with a new one.

It looks like work is still underway, and the area around the playground equipment is currently fenced off.
The construction is scheduled to continue until the end of March, so it looks like kids will be able to play there from around April.
By the way, instead of the sandpit that used to be there, a non-slip mat has been laid at the bottom of the slide.
Around this time of year, you see playground equipment renewal work happening in quite a few parks. The neighborhood kids must be looking forward to playing on the shiny new equipment.😄
